Iván Rodríguez-Conde, Ph.D. – Assistant Professor

Dr. Ivan Rodriguez-Conde headshot imageDr. Iván Rodríguez-Conde is a software analyst and researcher who specializes in human-computer interaction. He is a confessed fan of everything that has to do with technology. Dr. Conde is passionate about the development of interactive user-centric tools based on 3D graphics and advanced user interfaces.

From 2009 to 2015, he had the honor of being a member of the SI6 research group (Computer Graphics and Multimedia Group) of the University of Vigo. There, he participated in numerous multidisciplinary research projects framed in the development of mobile applications, gamification, and development of interactive 3D graphics systems. During that time in the academic world and alongside his work as a researcher, he was a lecturer and an instructor in multiple courses in computer graphics, in project management, and in software systems programming.

Recently, Dr. Conde has focused on his professional activities in the corporate field, working in different sectors such as online marketing and the automotive industry, performing tasks of project management. He has experience in UX analysis and design as well as in development of interactive software tools for embedded, mobile, and desktop systems. In 2019, he was recruited by Dr. Carolina Cruz-Neira to join the Emerging Analytics Center (EAC) at UA Little Rock. He has since served as the Director of Human Computer Interaction Research for the EAC.
