Sharonda Lipscomb currently serves as Director of Online Learning at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. In this role under the university’s Associate Vice Chancellor for Student Success, she oversees all aspects related to administration and innovation for online learning at the university. Sharonda has worked in Scholarly Technology and Resources (STaR) and eLearning since 2012 holding various roles, most recently as Instructional Design & Quality Assurance Coordinator for the Instructional Design Division of eLearning. As coordinator, she led a team of instructional designers in developing Online Course Design Quality Assurance Standards in an effort to promote a culture of high-quality course design, instruction, and innovation in the online environment while supporting student retention and success.
Sharonda earned a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of North Texas in the Learning Technologies program, a Master of Education in Learning Systems Technology, a Master of Education in Adult Education, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Small Business Entrepreneurship from the University of Arkansas Little Rock. Sharonda also serves as Adjunct Graduate Faculty for the School of Education in the Learning Systems Technology (LSTE) Online Program and is the Program Administrator and Faculty member for the Online K-12 Teaching Academy.
