Join UALR in celebrating our annual Campus Sustainability Day where you can drop off used electronics, household chemicals, paper, light bulbs, aluminum, plastic, old prescriptions, and more. There will also be a green jobs fair as well as free local and/or organic food provided. We look forward to seeing you!
7 a.m. – 1 p.m., Lot 15
- Electronics recycling
- Paper, light bulb, battery, aluminum, and plastic recycling drop-off
- Household chemical drop-off
- Drop off used cell phones
- Unused medication take-back
- Tire pressure check
- Displays and information tables
10 a.m. – 1 p.m., DSC Ledbetter Rooms
- Green Jobs Fair – employers offering
internships, volunteer and/or paid opportunities with local nonprofits, businesses, and government - Information tables showcasing sustainability efforts of various UALR units, departments, & organizations
- Free local and/or organic food at 11a.m.
- Sign up for discussion groups and book club
