Danette McGilvary, a prominent information quality expert and consultant, was on campus April 21st to give a lecture on “Executing Data Quality Projects: Ten Steps to Quality Data and Trusted Information” also the title of her latest book published by Morgan Kaufmann. In her presentation, she gave the students and faculty in the Information Quality Graduate Program an overview of best practices in managing information quality projects. She also discussed the growing opportunities for employment and business development related to information quality.
