After September 27: How to Reset Your Mobile Device for Use on the UALR-WiFi Network

IT Services will perform updates to the campus wireless network between 10 p.m. and midnight on Monday, September 27.

After completion of the maintenance, you may be prompted on your device (smartphone, laptop, tablet, etc.) to reconfirm or TRUST the new certificate on the wireless network.

It is required that all UALR-WiFi users “forget” and re-join the UALR-WiFi network, enter their email address as the username with their password at the prompts, then click TRUST on the new security certificate.

Make sure that Private Address is unchecked and disabled for the UALR-WiFi network and all of your mobile network settings are set to DHCP and/or Dynamic.

If your device does not prompt you or you are unable to connect to UALR-WiFi, please click here for the easiest way to resolve most WiFi connectivity issues.

If you need in-person technical support, please bring your mobile device to the IT Services Assistance Center at SUA, Room 105 during normal business hours.
