Volunteering and service

Both the African American Male Initiative (AAMI) and the African American Female Initiative (AAFI) volunteered throughout the year to serve the surrounding community in different manners:
– through participation in the Race for the Cure
– through the Leadership Institute which raised over 3,000 non-perishable goods items to help with UALR’s Reach 13,000 effort.
– through Relay for Life
– through mentoring 5th graders of Bale Elementary
