UA Little Rock to Host Sustainability Day October 26

UA Little Rock faculty, staff, students, alumnus, and the community are invited to celebrate Sustainability Day on-campus, Oct. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., near the Chi Omega Courtyard.

This year, we will host a campus clean-up as well with the help of Keep Arkansas Beautiful and Keep Little Rock Beautiful. Participants may receive service hours as well as a free t-shirt.

In addition to the campus clean-up and free electronic recycling in Lot 15, we expect many vendors such as Arkansas Game and Fish, Beef Snob/Barham’s Ozark Beef, Briar Unbound, Calm+Confidence, City of Little Rock Sustainability Office, Fauna Fabulous Flora Farm, Fennel and Fire Crafting House, Forever Flowers, Fortune Francos, Keep Little Rock Beautiful, Little Rock Wastewater Authority, Natural State Recycling, Njeri’s Pastries, Sacred Earth Gifts, Southern Twisted Tea, Tesla Owners Club of Arkansas, UA Little Rock Wellness, and UA Little Rock Campus Garden.

This year, we will offer another Entergy giveaway, as well! Come get a free energy-efficient LED light bulb and a power strip, and meet Maximus, the UA Little Rock Trojans mascot.

Come celebrate this annual event with us, and help us to promote sustainability in the city and on-campus!
