All UA Little Rock employees including adjuncts, hourly, graduate assistant and work-study employee are required to complete the mandatory Title IX training within 30 days of their hire date. This training will help faculty and staff to understand their role as a “Responsible Employee” and their requirements to report instances of sexual harassment or violence against students and colleagues. The training should take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and may be completed in multiple sessions.

Employees should complete the required training module “Campus SaVE Act for Employees: Sexual Violence Awareness, Title IX and Sexual Misconduct, Sexual Harassment, Title IX Policy and Website Review and Acknowledgement”. In addition to this training, there are other optional courses available for employees that may be taken by accessing “Extra Training”. Other optional employee courses include:

- Discrimination Awareness in the Workplace
- Diversity Awareness
- FERPA: Confidentiality of Records
- Sensitivity Awareness
- Retaliation Liability
- Active Shooter
Employees are expected to read and acknowledge the university’s Title IX Policy and review the Title IX Website through the online training site, SafeColleges. The Title IX website provides resources, contact information and an online reporting option. All required training is automatically assigned through the online training program and the system-generated emails will be sent to all employees once assignments are completed.
