Basu joins UA Little Rock as computer science faculty, EAC fellow

The Department of Computer Science has exciting things going on, from cybersecurity certificates, to partnerships with local industry leaders, to new and energized faculty! Dr. Aryabrata Basu is from India originally, where he received his bachelor’s degree in information technology at West Bengal University of Technology. He then finished his PhD at the University of Georgia. From there, he spent six years at Emory University as a visual information specialist and as a research scientist at the Emory Center for Digital Scholarship.

Dr. Basu’s areas of research interests include human-computer interaction, design and evaluation of (Virtual Reality + Augmented Reality = Extended Reality) experiences, natural user interfaces (2D/3D), usability analytics. and assistive artificial intelligence.
