Rebecca Moreira (’18) Presents Research at American Chemical Society Conference

Donaghey Scholar Rebecca Moreira, who will be graduating in May, presented her research at the American Chemical Society National Conference in New Orleans, LA last month. The research was conducted over a two year period and focused on the removal of phosphates from wastewater using renewable nanocomposites. Her mentor on the project is Chemistry professor Dr. Tito Viswanathan. Becca will be starting medical school and the dual Masters in Public Health program at UAMS this fall.
