Fall 2026 move-in will be from August 19 to August 20, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The full schedule of which residence halls and apartments move in each day is below. If you have questions, please reach out to us – and be sure to look over the list of items to bring as you make your plans to move on campus.
Check-In Details
You will check in for your residence hall at that respective building. North and South Halls will check in at the Commons building. Please make sure you have your student ID before check-in, or you will not have access to your building.
Move-In Schedule
Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Special Programs (Athletics, Incoming Donaghey Scholars Program, Incoming DCSTEM scholars, Incoming Artwing, and Incoming Chancellor’s Leadership Corps)
Thursday, Aug. 20, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- East Hall, North Hall, South Hall, West Hall, and University Village
Friday, Aug. 21 – Sunday, Aug. 23, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Any remaining students who have not moved in.
After 5 p.m., residents can call the following numbers for assistance with moving in:

Trojan ID Cards
Please make sure you have your student ID before check-in, or you will not have access to your building. Student IDs are programmed to allow students into the entrance doors of North, South, East, and West. University Village students must have a valid ID and parking permit to access the gates at the University Village. Student IDs can be printed Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Information Desk at the Donaghey Student Center.
Parking Permits
Parking permits are required to access all Campus Living residential parking lots. Please note that the parking permit process has changed this year.
Residential parking permits will be available starting Monday, July 13. To obtain a parking permit, visit the parking portal and select “Permits” at the top of the page. After completing the online parking form and submitting payment, your parking permit will be mailed to the physical address you provide.
To register your vehicle, you will need the following information:
- Your Workday Student ID number
- Vehicle make and model
- Vehicle color
- License plate number
