UA Little Rock Kaltura users will find an array of new options available to them this fall semester, and we’ll be hosting a webinar at noon on Thursday, August 29 to demonstrate how to use these features in your course, answer any questions you may have, and listen to your feedback.
Join us on Blackboard Collaborate to hear more about the features listed below:
Kaltura’s proprietary recording software is a light-weight, easy-to-use solution for faculty and students who want to record original video content from their webcam or capture recordings of their desktop. Capture is a replacement for CaptureSpace Lite, which was deprecated at the end of the Spring 2019 semester, and we’ll be demonstrating the new interface and functionality to help ease the transition to this new recording tool.
Video Quizzing and Interactive Video
Did you know you can create video content with interactive quizzes and branching storylines to engage your students without leaving the Blackboard course environment? Kaltura’s video quizzing feature was introduced last year, and we’ll be demonstrating the new question types and scoring options recently added to the tool that can give your video content an engaging new twist.
Kaltura Media Space and KMS Go
Kaltura Media Space, a free-standing video portal, is a quick and convenient way to manage your Kaltura media content, organize playlists, share video with users outside of Blackboard, and much more. Media Space also integrates with KMS Go, Kaltura’s mobile app, to allow user’s easy access to upload and play media from their mobile device.
