After an international trip, students will need to show good immigration standing to reenter the US. The following documents will or may be requested at the port of entry:

Primary documents required for all reentry

  • Passport valid 6 months into the future
  • Visa valid on day of entry
  • I-20 or DS-2019 signed for travel

Secondary documents may be requested at reentry

Additional information for port of entry

  • For an emergency at port-of-entry, call UA Little Rock Public Safety. They will transfer you to an international advisor if needed: 501-916-3566
  • If the border patrol issues you any documentation (I-515) be sure to bring it to ISS at your earliest convenience so we can respond
  • The I-94 is now electronic. You will not receive an I-94 at the port-of-entry

Students should check in with International Student Services after:

  • Receiving a new visa
  • Entering the US on a new SEVIS record
  • Being issued an I-515 at the port of entry
