Workday Release Offers New Features

Each year, two major releases are implemented to Workday in March and September. Workday, UA Little Rock’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, is used to manage day-to-day business activities for the campus.

Workday’s latest release arrived March 9! Each Workday release contains new features and enhancements that are either automatically available or may be opted-in with set-up required. The release guide provides details for both automatically available and opt-in features which include important training updates. This guide is accessible to UA System employees only.

The following are a few of the significant changes to Workday apps that are included in the March release:

  • Announcement Placement – relocated to the top of the page enables users to display important information.
  • My Tasks – redesigned and enhanced task management solution that replaces Inbox includes renaming of tasks, reports, and fields.
