Chancellor Andrew Rogerson introduced the university’s new Undergraduate Research Signature Experience Awards program to inspire UA Little Rock undergraduate students to conduct research and creative projects that will enrich your academic experience.
A total of $50,000 will be available to award 50 student projects this academic year. Each student whose project has been approved will receive $1,000 in award funds to cover expenses such as supplies, equipment, services, and travel to make presentations or attend professional or scholarly meetings.
Download the program guidelines and Undergraduate Research Signature Experience Awards application.
You may submit the complete application as a single PDF file to Ross Bradley at rabradley@ualr.edu.
Please visit with your professors about the program. Tenure-track faculty will serve as sponsors and mentors to students whose projects have been selected. The application deadline is Monday, October 16. Projects must be completed by the end of the 2018 spring semester. Student award recipients will present their findings from the projects at the 2018 spring Undergraduate Research and Creative Works Expo.
Dr. Rogerson and Dr. Burton enthusiastically encourage you to apply for this award and look forward to the spring project presentations. If you have questions, please contact Dr. Jeremy Ecke, jsecke@ualr.edu.
