Using Google Meet

Our advising is being conducted virtually which requires the use of Google Meet. Our university adheres to FERPA policies which require that all university conversations be conducted via the @UALR email system. To call in by phone, please see these instructions.

To this effect, Google Meet virtual advising appointments can only be made with an @UALR email address. If an outside email address tries to enter an appointment they will be turned away and if appointments are made with email addresses outside the @UALR system they may  be cancelled.

When an advisor is making a Google Meet appointment with a student and the email provided is outside of the @UALR system an error message will pop up and the appointment will not move forward.

Be sure when making and attending advising appointments you are doing so with your @UALR email address.
