Request a Tutor | (Remote) One-on-One Tutors and ONLINE tutoring

If you are an active SSS student and wish to request a one-on-one tutor for the current semester, please complete the online SSS Tutor Request Form. You will receive your tutoring assignment after you complete your TOOTS and when a tutor is available. Please note: All tutoring will be conducted in a remote capacity until further notice.

Online tutoring is now available on the TRIO SSS BLACKBOARD account. Select Tutoring on the menu, then select NetTutor. An adjusted form of a tutoring session page is also provided on Blackboard for online tutoring sessions.

Become a Tutor

If you are interested in tutoring for SSS, please complete the TRIO SSS Tutor Application.

SSS hires tutors on an as-needed basis. Hours are flexible, and pay is scaled according to education and experience: 1) $12 for current undergraduate-level tutors; 2) $13 for those with a completed baccalaureate degree; and 3) $15 per hour for those with a completed graduate-level degree or extensive experience in a field of study or who are professionals. If you have questions prior to the time you are contacted, you are welcome to send a message to the TRIO SSS staff at triosss@ualr.edu.
