New Cabling Contracts
UA Little Rock has a new cabling contract, which will allow departments to have a better understanding of the price before they pursue funding on network cabling projects. All cabling projects should be quoted by the Networks team in IT Services. Departments can request quotes with a self-service incident ticket using the Technology Purchasing Process.
Punchouts
IT Procurement is evolving for UA Little Rock and changes are constantly occurring to assist the campus with its purchasing needs. The technology supplier CDW-Government LLC is now set up as a Workday punchout. Punchouts allow requesters to take the quote provided by IT Services and quickly process their order through Workday using the quote number. More punchouts will become available in the coming months so please periodically check the Punchout Contract Requisitions page on our website for our current list.
IT Spend Categories
Due to continuing changes in the Spend Categories in Workday, IT Services has provided a webpage where requesters can easily browse through technology related spend categories. Periodically, new spend categories are created or adjusted, so employees should consult the document to identify updates for their items or services.
