In Fall 2021, the Office of Study Abroad will launch ViaTRM, a new student-centered application and travel relationship management platform for the UA Little Rock student population. ViaTRM will be the starting point for students to learn more about the 500+ study abroad programs, international internships, and research opportunities that UA Little Rock offers.
Students will sign into the application management system utilizing single sign-on (SSO), and have the ability to search the study abroad program portfolio, favorite programs of interest, connect directly with study abroad staff, sign up for scholarship workshops or mentoring, and get information about passport and visa applications. The Office of Study Abroad is confident this platform will streamline the study abroad application process for the UA Little Rock student population.
This system was chosen after a thorough review of available study abroad application systems with the help of colleagues in the Donaghey Scholars Program, IT Services, Student Affairs, and students who have formerly studied abroad. This collaboration was essential to ensure the system was implemented in an efficient manner and we are grateful for the input and support from our campus colleagues.
