This Human Resource Management emphasis area prepares students for careers in areas related to human resources such as workplace management and training. The program stresses the importance of integrating individual goals with organizational objectives. Courses focus on the legal environment of employee relations, job analysis and design, employee planning and recruitment, employee productivity improvement, compensation, union-management relations, and quality of work life.
