Update for Advisors: 2024 DegreeWorks Upgrade Transition Guide


What is DegreeWorks?

DegreeWorks is a web-based academic advising and degree audit tool that helps students and their advisors successfully navigate degree requirements. Using this tool, students can easily identify courses that are required for each term throughout their academic career, and bring them towards their goal of graduation day.


What are the benefits of DegreeWorks?

DegreeWorks supports real-time delivery of academic advice through intuitive web interfaces, minimizes errors through consistent degree plans, supports more timely degree certification, reduces paperwork and manual program check sheets, and supports program changes. It helps students determine the academic requirements that are necessary to complete their degree and graduate.


Who has access to DegreeWorks?

Advisors, as supplied by the dean’s office, and students who begin Fall 2017 and later. The level of access will be determined by the dean’s office as well.

Note: If you are an Undergraduate or Post-Baccalaureate student, and your catalog year is before Fall 2017, you will be directed to Degree Evaluation in BOSS. If you are a Graduate student, and your catalog year is before Fall 2016, you will be directed to Degree Evaluation in BOSS.
