The nonprofit sector is an increasingly important contributor to the socioeconomic health and vitality of our community. In response, the University of Arkansas at Little Rock has initiated the UALR Center for Nonprofit Organizations to improve the capacity of the nonprofit sector through an interdisciplinary application of community and University resources which include our flagship nonprofit academic programs, American Humanics and the Graduate Certificate in Nonprofit Management.

Economic Impact Study
The 2008 report on the economic impact of nonprofit organizations in the state of Arkansas is now available. The report is titled The Benefit of Doing Good: The Structure, Contribution, and Impact of Arkansas Nonprofits on the State’s Economy. It is available as both a full report and an executive summary .
