Operation Homefront: Giving Back to Those Who Have Served

The Veterans Legal Services Clinic at the UA Little Rock Bowen School of Law is proud to announce the 2023 Veterans Symposium, “Operation Homefront: Giving Back to Those Who
Have Served”. The symposium will be held October 27, 9 a.m. – 4:15 p.m., and will offer 5 hours of free CLE, including 1 hour of ethics CLE. The keynote speaker for the event is Prof. Jason Higgins, author of “Service Denied: Marginalized Veterans in Modern American History.” CLE topics will include legal issues veterans face, tips for practicing before the VA and the VA court of appeals, criminal record sealing, military culture, and trauma-informed lawyering.  Both in-person and virtual attendance options are available.
