Professor Josh Silverstein discussed the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision not to hear same-sex marriage cases and its effect on Arkansas. “It is a nondecision. They did nothing,” Silverstein said. “In those specific cases [passed on by the Supreme Court], the impact could be quite dramatic. … But right now it has no effect on Arkansas or states that weren’t [involved in the cases].” (Spencer Williams, No effect foreseen for state challenges.
