Professor Cain convinced the Arkansas Court of Appeals to suppress evidence discovered during an unconstitutional traffic stop

Eric Benard Rounds v. State of Arkansas, The Arkansas Court of Appeals reversed the trial court’s order denying a motion to suppress and ordered that the State is barred from using the illegally obtained evidence., CR-17-708, Arkansas Court of Appeals (April 25, 2018).

Professor Cain convinced the Arkansas Court of Appeals to reverse a trial court’s order denying his client’s motion to suppress evidence discovered during an unconstitutional traffic stop. As a result of the appellate court’s ruling, the Government cannot use the evidence the officer discovered, which means the prosecution has to be dismissed.
